My Mom Said Yes! - A Richmond Engagement Shoot with the best dog!

Since starting Kristen Murray Photography it’s been my dream to photograph a surprise engagement. But it’s not like I can put a model call out for that, right?

So when Pepper’s dad reached out to me, unbeknownst to Jess, with an idea to propose during our portrait session, you know I squealed with delight!

It started off as a typical dog-mom portrait session, focused on capturing the bond Pepper and Jess share, along with the love and connection between Pepper, Jess, and Daryl.

Then, halfway through our session, I took Jess aside for some modeling of her own, which was Daryl's cue to dress Pepper up in the cutest little bandana and pop the question.

But seriously, how amazing does this woman look?!

And of course she said yes.

There wasn’t a dry eye between any of us, and after some detail shots of the ring on sweet Pepper’s paw, we moved on down to the creek to let Pepper take a dip and bask in all the love.
