Soul Dog Shine - Cocktail (& Mocktail) Recipe

May 13th is World Cocktail Day. . .

so I’m sharing my go-to summer drink, named in honor of my sweet soul dog, Kona.
And for our sober friends, an alcohol-free mocktail recipe too!)

☀️🐕 Soul Dog Shine 🐕☀️

🥃 1 part Three Crosses moonshine
🥥 2 parts coconut LaCroix
🍓 2 muddled strawberries
🍋 1 big slice of lime
🌶 +/- muddled jalapeños for added spice!

Not feeling the shine? This recipe is also extremely delicious with tequila blanco and a small salt rim. Refreshing, not too sweet, and just perfect on a hot summer day after playing in the river with the pups.

Not feelin’ any alcohol? Try this mocktail instead:

🥥 1 can coconut LaCroix
🍋 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
🍓 5 muddled strawberries
🌶 +/- muddled jalapeños for added spice!

And we can’t forget a recipe for the pups!

Blueberry Bone Broth Pupsicle

1 part spring water
2 parts bone broth (Kona prefers beef)
Blueberries

Combine the spring water and bone broth and pour into ice cube tray. Top each one with blueberries and freeze. These can make a mess, so it’s a great outside treat.
